Wellspring is proud to be run on a volunteer model. We have 30-35 volunteer counsellors and over 15 others in roles such as ‘Welcomers’, event coordinators, fundraisers and gardeners.
The charity is overseen by a Board of Trustees who meet 6 times a year with the Executive Director. Wellspring currently has 8 trustees made up of individuals with a variety of skills. Their collective experience includes: Psychotherapist, corporate solicitors, teaching, clergy in the Church of England, financial planning & accountancy and health and safety/ governance expertise.
We have a growing staff team, which is led by Emily Fullarton, our Executive Director. Emily is supported by service leads, who make up Wellspring’s management team; these include: Sarah James (Therapeutic Lead), Sue Ball (Operations Manager) & Richard Marjoribanks (Finance Officer). Alongside our employees we also work with self-employed counsellors and trainers.
