On Wednesday
10 May, the Year 12 A Level Drama and Theatre Studies students at Harrogate Grammar School performed ‘Social Stigma’. The aim of the event was to present their work on a range of social issues and raise funds for Wellspring. Managed by Ella Ralli and her team Cal Mills, Ellie Pickersgill and Laura Moore, the students used the work they had devised in their lessons and sought to educate their peers and others on issues such as depression, terrorism and health care. Organising the whole event themselves, after ticket sales and a raffle, the class managed to raise a total of £555.84. The funds raised will be used towards the renovation of our new building.
Our sincere thanks to Ella & her team, and all who contributed! You’re awesome!
