Wellspring Therapy and Training has been providing a one-to-one counselling service for some of Harrogate’s schools. This has been shown to be very effective and in order to explain the benefits and how this service fits with the National Framework and with regional strategies regarding Children and Young People’s Mental Health we should like to invite high schools to a meeting on 1 May at the Crown Hotel in Harrogate at 4pm.
Our service is delivered by professionally qualified counsellors who work within the ethical framework of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). All our counsellors are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and our Youth Counsellors are specifically qualified to work with young people.
Our meeting on 1 May will aim to answer any questions schools may have about the service. You can reserve a place (or a number of places) by sending an email to director@wellspringtherapy.co.uk . We should be delighted if school heads, representatives of the pastoral care team, governors and teaching colleagues would join us.
