Exciting opportunity to join the developing Youth Project Team at Wellspring
We are looking to appoint:
a male counsellor to work particularly, but not exclusively, with young men aged between 12 and 19 in need of psychological support and/or help to manage risky behaviour. This is initially a 12 hour post.
Some work will be in schools, some at the Wellspring Centre in Starbeck.
You will need to be able to engage the disengaged and enable them to break free of behaviour such as anger and self-harm, and resolve past trauma so that they can fulfil their potential through education, training or work.
