As part of representing Christian counselling to the wider world, ACC’s director of counselling Kathy Spooner has been interviewed on radio about mental health issues. This follows a press release on behalf of ACC across Europe (Press_Release_ACC_Europe) calling on governments to take seriously the need for resources devoted to treating those with mental health issues.

The Rt Rev Bishop Nick Baines, The Bishop of Leeds has agreed to be Wellspring’s Sole Patron. He comments: ‘For many people with mental health issues, timely access to good quality talking therapy is essential. At a time when access to that provision is at a premium, charities like Wellspring provide a crucial service, so I am very glad to offer my support by becoming their patron.’
